Crown Plaza to replace Adelaide Holiday Inn as demand for meetings and events soars

Plans for a 130-room Holiday Inn and Suites in Adelaide have been upgraded with the hotel now set to operate as a 155-room Crowne Plaza when it opens its doors in the second half of 2024. IHG Hotels and Resorts, in partnership with Pelligra Group and One7, said the Mawson Lakes property – which was first announced during AHICE Asia Pacific in Adelaide in May 2022 – has undergone a transformation during development and is now positioned in the upscale segment.
