InterContinental Sydney opens its ground floor restaurant Pont Brasserie this week, led by French-trained Head Chef John Lyons. The latest addition in a broader transformation of Sydney’s sandstone quarter into one of the city’s most dynamic dining precincts, Pont Brasserie will offer contemporary brasserie-style dishes with a twist. With an entrance on Bridge Street – “Rue du Pont’’ in French – the restaurant design features deep rich tones with heritage features and dark timber floors.
