NewcrestImage has closed on a portfolio of 45 hotels that includes 35 Marriott-branded, seven Hilton-branded and three Choice-branded properties in 11 states—Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Texas. The transaction, which totals approximately 3,300 rooms, was announced in early September.

U.S. hotel performance came in higher than the previous week and showed improved comparisons to 2019, according to STR ‘s latest data through Nov. 12. Nov. 6-12 (percentage change from comparable week in 2019): Occupancy: 64.6% (+0.9%). ADR: $148.43 (+17.1%). RevPAR: $95.89 (+18.2%). Among the top 25 markets, Norfolk/Virginia Beach, VA reported the largest occupancy increase over 2019 (+14.3% to 63.6%).
