JLL arranges $172M financing for the Four Seasons Hotel Nashville

JLL Capital Markets arranged $172 million in financing for the acquisition of the newly completed Four Seasons Hotel Nashville. The company worked on behalf of the sponsorship, a joint venture between GD Holdings, Stonebridge Development Co. and Copford Capital Management LLC, to secure the acquisition financing through Credit Suisse. Newly delivered in 2022, the Four Seasons Hotel Nashville is a 40-story, full-service luxury hotel with 235 keys, including 42 suites.

Scandic appoints chief commercial officer

Studio Moren to refurbish Kensington boutique hotel

UK: Architecture and design firm Studio Moren has won planning permission to refurbish and extend a boutique hotel on London’s Kensington High Street for JMK Group. The project will see the addition of 30 guest rooms, including an extension to the rooftop in order to maximise the accommodation offer. . STR: U.S. hotel results for week ending Nov. 5

As expected due to the Halloween calendar shift, U.S. hotel performance came in lower than the previous week and showed weakened comparisons to 2019, according to STR‘s latest data through Nov. 5. Oct. 30 through Nov. 5 (percentage change from comparable week in 2019): Occupancy: 62.4% (-9.2%). ADR: $147.48 (+11.4%). RevPAR: $91.99 (+1.1%). While none of the top 25 markets showed an occupancy increase over 2019, Tampa came closest to its pre-pandemic comparable (-1.0% to 72.4%).

McNeill’s Mark Ricketts passes away
