August 18-24 (percentage change from comparable week in 2023): Occupancy: 66.1% (+1.7%) ADR: $154.80 (+2.7%) RevPAR: $102.30 (+4.5%) Among the top 25 markets, Houston saw the highest YOY occupancy lift (+31.7% to 76.1%). Driven by the Democratic National Convention, Chicago posted the largest increases in ADR (+41.8% to $215.60) and RevPAR (+51.1% to $156.32).

Robust sales activity in the second quarter elevated mid-year hotel investment volume to $1.3 billion, up 20 per cent year-over-year. National average pricing metrics remained strong versus historical trends at $163,000 per key, although pacing below record levels seen in 2023 due in part to the absence of more than $100 million trophy transactions.
