Texas’ Original Luxury Resort Becomes Newest Ritz-Carlton

The newest Ritz-Carlton is official, joining the luxury brand's portfolio of more than 100 hotels and resorts worldwide. Named The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas as of today, the 400-acre property is set in the rolling hills of a former family ranch just minutes from downtown Dallas.
Formerly The Four Seasons Resort at Las Colinas for nearly 38 years, the resort had been operating as The Las Colinas Resort, Dallas since December 15, 2022 after being acquired in a joint venture between Trinity Investments ("Trinity") and Partners Group. The ongoing $55 million transformation is expected to continue in various parts of the property through May 2024.
Led by renowned design firms Jeffrey Beers International and Leo A Daly, the current renovations to the storied property include a new lobby bar, Bar Juniper, focusing on clear spirits and thoughtfully designed with feminine touches inspired by indigenous Texas vegetation; 427 updated guest rooms with elements designed to evoke the free spirit and lifestyle of the resort's history as the former Little Ranch on the Hills; and refreshed meeting space and state-of-the-art ballroom facilities spanning 80,000 square feet.
Property enhancements still to come include a March 2024 opening of Knife Italian, the newest restaurant concept from Michelin-starred chef John Tesar that captures the Italian heritage ingrained in Texas; the unique Campo Coffee & Provisions concept providing a European-inspired, locally roasted espresso program along with a sommelier-curated selection of wines; the transformation of the 14,000-square-foot on-site salon and spa into The Ritz-Carlton Spa®; and a fully reimagined resort pool including luxury cabanas, additional seating and a new poolside bar.
Additionally, The Ritz-Carlton Club® located on the second floor is expected to open in February 2024 and will allow guests looking for a highly personalized experience to enjoy modern Texas luxury in a distinctly immersive way. Among those unique offerings are five daily culinary presentations profiling the quintessential flavors of Texas and invite-only cultural experiences and events.
