As part of a $50 million redesign, Hyatt Regency Irvine to reveal the first phase of a complete reimagining, with all-new interior design, public spaces, dining, meeting and events offerings, and more than 500 guestrooms.

The highly anticipated Hyatt Regency Irvine, previously known as Hotel Irvine, announces plans to reopen this summer after extensive enhancements and is now available to book for stays beginning August 15, 2023. The redesigned 516-room property will embrace a fresh direction for the Hyatt Regency brand, rooted in its history of pioneering new markets and experiences, while meeting the demand and ever-changing needs of today's travelers. The hotel will reopen in two phases with the first 175 guestrooms available in August 2023 and a full hotel renovation concluding in Spring 2024.

The comprehensive update of this iconic Orange County property - led by Hyatt and architectural design firms Gensler and DLR - blends SoCal approachability with the urban sophistication of the city. It will include fully reimagined public spaces, including an artisanal marketplace; a seasonal restaurant (set to open Spring 2024); the 14,600-square-foot Regency Ballroom featuring advanced technology designed to enhance both private events and business meetings; a signature Regency Club with exclusive amenities and spaces, including firepits, lounge chairs, a sophisticated bar as well as myriad communal areas and gathering spaces thoughtfully designed for socializing and collaborating. The property will feature more than 50,000 square feet of flexible indoor/outdoor meetings and events space, including its signature sprawling outdoor lawn.

Staying true to the Hyatt Regency brand, Hyatt Regency Irvine will offer an elevated experience for families and business travelers alike, in addition to providing locals with a fresh dining destination, flexible remote work options, and dynamic gathering places. An overview of Hyatt Regency Irvine's planned phased reveal includes:

• August 15, 2023: 175 guestrooms (available to book now) and pop-up artisanal marketplace set to debut
• September 2023: all meeting and event spaces available for booking
• November 2023: new gourmet marketplace expected to open, featuring grab-and-go artisanal goods, locally made specialties, small bites, shared plates and more
• December 2023: remaining 341 guestrooms and new Regency Club set to open
• Spring 2024: new signature restaurant and bar/lounge as well as new pool experience set to debut
