The Indigo Road Hospitality Group has opened a new event space, The View at Morrison Yard in Charleston, SC. Located on the top floor of the newly developed Morrison Yard building at 850 Morrison Dr., The View is the tallest event venue on the Charleston Peninsula, boasting a 180-degree view of the Charleston Harbor, including the iconic Ravenel Bridge spanning the surrounding Cooper River.
Designed by local design and architecture firm David Thompson Architect, LLC, The View has sleek and modern interiors, industrial finishes, polished concrete floors, and iron and mahogany wood chandeliers. The venue's floor-to-ceiling windows allow maximum natural light to enter the space. The View can seat up to 160 guests for dinners or 200 for cocktail parties. "The design of this space is nothing short of spectacular, and we're eager to offer our guests an event venue that is truly unmatched in Charleston," said Christa Polinsky, Indigo Road's director of sales. "From the moment you step inside, you are in awe of the views, and we can't wait to see the magic and memories created here." At The View, various catering choices from multiple vendors are available. One notable option is The Indigo Road's very own Mercantile & Mash, a gourmet food market renowned for its unique assortment of locally sourced products and homemade delicacies, offering comprehensive food and beverage services featuring specially curated beverage selections, appetizing hors d'oeuvres, various food stations, and options for seated dinner services.
