GHM appoints general manager at The Chedi Katara

Qatar: Hotel operator General Hotel Management (GHM) has named Hani Akkari as the general manager of The Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort in Doha.

Akkari brings over 17 years of experience in luxury hotels to this new role with GHM. He joins from Fairmont Doha where he held the role of general manager.

Other brands Akkari has worked with across Europe and the Middle East include Four Seasons, Hilton, Sofitel and MGallery.

In his role at The Chedi Katara, Akkari will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s operations and commercial performance, as well as lead new projects within F&B.
