US: The luxury 360-room hotel Conrad Washington DC has appointed Adam Heffron as general manager.

Heffron joins the property from the Conrad Los Angeles hotel, which made its debut in downtown Los Angeles last year. Here he led the pre-opening and opening team for the brand’s flagship property in California.

Prior to this, Heffron held a variety of senior leadership roles with Hilton, including general manager of the Waldorf Astoria Park City and hotel manager of the Conrad New York Downtown.

In his new role, Heffron will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations – from marketing to hotel administration. He said: “I look forward to returning the east coast and leading the phenomenal team at this incredible property. Having been raised outside of DC, the area has always been important to me. I look forward to building upon this hotel’s already incredible reputation as a top choice for both leisure and business travellers visiting the nation’s capital and offering an exceptional experience for our global travellers.”

In addition to over 300 rooms, Conrad Washington DC offers several F&B venues including the main restaurant Estuary, a rooftop bar and lounge Summit, and the tenth floor private club Sakura Club. It forms part of a portfolio of 45 Conrad hotels.
