Mandarin Oriental to launch in Athens

Greece: Luxury hotel and residences Mandarin Oriental, Athens, will be developed within the urban regeneration project The Ellinikon and is set to open in the summer of 2027.

Mandarin Oriental, Athens will be developed by BELT Riviera S.A., a company by TEMES S.A., in partnership with HELLINIKON S.M.S.A., a subsidiary of LAMDA Development. 

It will be located along the shoreline of Athens at the centre of The Ellinikon – an €8 billion redevelopment project on the former site of Hellenikon International Airport.

The hotel will feature 123 rooms and suites, as well as 17 branded residences, including waterfront villas and apartments. Amenities include a range of dining venues, an indoor and outdoor event space, as well as a spa.

Mandarin Oriental, Athens will be the second Greek hotel developed in partnership with TEMES S.A., following the first site in Costa Navarino. The hotel is due to launch this summer.
