Monaco: The 208-key Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo located on Casino Square in Monaco has named Olivier Thomas as its general manager.

Thomas brings over 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality to his new role. He joins directly from Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi and has also worked at the brand’s hotels in Prague and Casablanca.

Prior to Four Seasons, Thomas spent eight years with Starwood Hotels and Resorts. He has also held positions at the Savoy Hotel in London and the Plaza Athénée in New York.

Speaking about his appointment, Thomas said: “I am honoured to arrive in Monaco in the most beautiful way by the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo door. I’m proud to join Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer and to become the general manager of the emblematic palace of Casino Square. I look forward to leading the hotel’s professional and passionate teams, which embody excellence of the quality of service and to write the next pages of history for this iconic hotel.”

Amenities at the hotel include the Michelin-starred Jewellers’ Courtyard, theatre Opéra Garnier, Casino de Monte-Carlo, and thermal spa Thermes Marins Monte-Carl.

The hotel is owned and managed by Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer (SBM).
