The team at Pullman Melbourne City Centre, in partnership with the hotel’s owners ERDI and the ERDI Foundation, has completed a remarkable 12-month fundraising effort, raising $57,196 in support of Melbourne homelessness charity 300 Blankets – demonstrating the powerful role hospitality can play in building stronger communities.

Funds raised through a series of staff-led events at the hotel will directly support 300 Blankets’ flagship programs, including Outreach and Soul Kitchen, which provide food, connection, and essential care to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Pullman Melbourne City Centre General Manager, James Muscat, said: “Our partnership with 300 Blankets is deeply meaningful to our team. As a hotel, we’re in the business of caring for people, and this partnership gave our team a tangible way to extend that care beyond our hotel. It’s been incredibly rewarding to work alongside 300 Blankets and see the real difference our collective effort can make in people’s lives.”

In addition to supporting day-to-day services, funds raised will also help 300 Blankets develop and implement new community programs identified in the charity’s strategic plan – ensuring long-term, scalable support for vulnerable Melburnians.

300 Blankets President, Peter Royce, said: “The extraordinary efforts of the Pullman Melbourne City Centre team and the generosity of the ERDI Foundation over the past 12 months are, for 300 Blankets, without precedent. This partnership has gone beyond fundraising – it’s been about genuine connection and shared purpose. The compassion and commitment shown by the Pullman team has not only boosted our resources but lifted the spirits of our volunteers and the people we serve.”

The ERDI Foundation is a Melbourne-based philanthropic organisation committed to supporting projects that address social disadvantage and build more resilient communities. Founded by the late Erdi family, the Foundation works closely with charitable organisations to drive meaningful, long-term impact across health, housing, education, and community development.
