JW Marriott Mexico City, nestled in the heart of Mexico City's prestigious Polanco District is pleased to share the completed renovations of its guest rooms and suites, the first phase of an ongoing total property transformation. The new rooms, which underwent a full refurbishment and modernization, have been designed to ensure the iconic hotel continues to meet the needs of today's most discerning local and international luxury travelers. Phase two will bring this illustrious hotel into a new era of luxury by Fall 2023, with a complete renovation of the entrances and lobby, as well as four new culinary concepts including a bar and mezcal room alongside 2800 sq. ft of re-imagined meeting spaces all of which are rooted in the social, physical, and historical elements of Polanco.

The hotel offers an unparalleled location in the exclusive area of Polanco, overlooking Chapultepec Park, walking distance to some of the city's finest restaurants and bars and most visited sites, including the Museum of Anthropology, National Auditorium, Soumaya Museum, art galleries, Zócalo central square and the Palace of Fine Arts. Originally opened in 1996, the Mexico City property was the first JW Marriott hotel outside of the United States.

Its impressive structure acts as a window to Paseo de la Reforma and is considered a landmark, fully rooted in the urban fabric of the Polanco district. While preserving the uniquely recognizable architecture of the building, the hotel has completed a full renovation of all 314 rooms, including 47 suites, adding contemporary to its classic luxury, imbued with colors inspired by nature.
